One alleged dacoit killed, other injured in encounters

HQ: An alleged dacoit was killed and another injured in separate shootouts with police in the metropolis on Thursday.
According rescue sources, a 30-year-old accused man, Shakeel, son of Abdul Latif sustained bullet injuries in retaliatory firing by police near CNG filling station in Ghulshan Sikander area. He died on the way to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
In another incident, a 20-year-old accused youth, Kashif, son of Zubair got bullet injuries in retaliatory firing by police within the limits of Khokhrapar police station in Malir. He was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center, where his condition was stated to be critical condition.
