11 more dengue cases reported in Karachi

KARACHI, Mar 26(PPI): At least 11 more dengue viral fever cases have been reported from Karachi in a week, taking the patients toll to 313 in the city since 1st January 2016.
According to the weekly report issued by Dengue Prevention and Control Program Sindh, 11 new dengue fever cases were detected in Karachi from 18th March to 24th March 2016.
A total 328 dengue fever cases had been reported in Sindh province since 1st January 2016, out of which 313 were detected from Karachi, five from Hyderabad, two from Sukkur, one each from Tando Muhammad Khan, Jamshoro, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Ghotki, Thatta, Shikarpur and Shaheed Benazirbad.
No death was reported from dengue fever this year so far.
