QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has imposed a ban on gathering of five persons or more as well as display of arms and their carrying in the jurisdiction of Quetta district.
This was announced in an official notification issued here by the Provincial Home and Tribal Affairs department the other day.
According to the notification, the ban has been imposed under the section 144 for period of a week.
It may be mentioned here that the ban has already been imposed on the pillion riding in the provincial metropolis.
The steps have been taken in view of the law and order situation and particularly the incidents of target killing in Quetta during last one week.
