Balochistan police bust Aug 8 terrorists gang

QUETTA Dec 5 (PPI): Balochistan police busted a gang of Tehreek Taliban Pakistan which was involved in suicide attack at civil hospital Quetta on august 8 this year. Five terrorists belonging to TTP were killed and tow security forces men sustained injuries one critically.
This was revealed by Provincial Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti at a briefing at CM Secretariat here Monday evening.
Secretary Home Dr Akbar Harifal, IG Police Balochistan Ahsan Mahbub and DIG Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema were also present.
Bugti said that nearly 69 lawyers and civilians were killed in Aug 8 suicide attack. It was a big challenge for police and intelligence agencies. He said we had first success in this regard 10 days ago. Chasing this Police and security forces conducted an operation in wee hours Monday. In the operation five terrorists were killed and two security forces men were injured one critically. Suicide bomber has been identified as Ahmed Ali a resident of Killi Deba Quetta.
Of the terrorists killed included Jahangir Badini who was master mind of August 8 civil hospital attack.
Sarfraz Bugti said Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri who is out of Pakistan personally monitored the entire operation and issued directives from time to time.
Replying to a question he made it clear that there is no organized presence of Daesh in Balochistan. Such false claims are made to isolate Pakistan. He said these are RAW and NDS activists who plan operations in Afghanistan and execute in Pakistan.
Home Minister said we are living in conflict zone and fighting war on terror on front line. Our border is porous.
Paying tributes to Balochistan Police, Home Minister said that it has proved it is fully capable to fight against terrorism.
Answering a question Home Minster said one arrest was also made in the operation. He aid investigations into case were underway.
Seized from their possession was chemical power while monosodium (25 Kg), Aluminum powder (8 Kg), detonators electric local (408), detonator non electric live (208), hand grenades (5), small hand grenades foreign (3), steel ball bearings (15 Kg), kalahsinkov (2), explosives yellow coloured (3 Kg)and many others.
