Karachi crackdown continues: Rangers arrest 29 criminals

Karachi, October 6 (Online): Sindh Rangers continued their ‘targeted’ operation against criminals in Karachi, arresting over two dozen more suspects, including alleged killers and members of banned outfits, officials said on Sunday.
Sindh Rangers spokesman said the paramilitary troops conducted raids in Quaidabad, Pathan Colony, Frontier Colony and Gulshan-e-Boner areas Sunday morning and rounded up some 29 suspects recovering arms and drugs.
He said three afghan-nationals were also arrested in the door-to-door search operation which continued for four hours in Pashtun-dominated areas of the city.
Officials said three suspects of target-killing were arrested in Nazimabad.
The Rangers also raided hideouts of banned organizations in Quaidabad and captured their key members wanted to police in various criminal cases.
