Seven including police killed in Karachi violence

KARACHI Oct 9 (Online): The continued spell of firing incidents and violence has claimed lives of seven people including a police during the last 24 hours in the metropolis.
Despite the targeted operations being conducted every night by law-enforcement agencies, the terrorist activities are still at large to carry out their nefarious designs in the city. Two police personnel were assaulted near Agha Khan Flats located in Metroville SITE area; one died on the spot as he was fatally hit in his head; while the other was critically wounded.
In yet another target killing, a 35-year Allah Yar was gunned down in Orangi Town’s Frontier Morr.
Another 25-year Amjad was killed with two gunshots in his head at 4K bus stop in North Karachi.
Bodies of three men were found from near Super Highway Northern Bypass. The deceased were gunned down following immense torture.
A 25-year Ali Raza, a resident of Musa Lane was shot to death in Lyari.
Meantime, two groups clashed with each other in Janjaal Goth area of Super Highway, where a man Himesh was killed.
