LAHORE, Oct 13 (Online): Chief Markazi Jamiat Ahle-Hadith, Senator Professor Sajid Mir has said that framework regarding holding of talks with Taliban is ready and majority of Taliban leadership is against the confrontation with army and government.

He was talking to media here on Sunday at the party’s central secretariat along with other office bearers.
“Anti- dialogue lobby again wants to push the country towards war”, he added.

Mir said that nation wants peace and the process would bring fruitful results if rulers try with honesty.

The Senator said that search for peace and calmness is not a sin or crime that is opposed by some forces.
“Anti-dialogue lobby has its own agenda as these elements think that one of the strongest Islamic atomic powers would become stable after restoration of peace”, Sajid Mir noted.

He reminded that whenever Pakistan tried to pursue peace process it was derailed either by launching drone attacks or by starting other terrorist activities.

Those who involved in dialogue process should try to understand enemy’s conspiracies and handle the issue systematically”, the Chief Markazi Jamiat Ahle-Hadith suggested.
