Karachi will be only for peace-loving, says Rangers official

KARACHI, Oct 27 (Online): Rangers Brigadier Hamid has said that Karachi will be cleaned from criminal elements, who are targeting innocent people in the city.
On Tuesday, while talking to media men Brig. Hamid said “Only innocent and good people will be allowed to live in Karachi, while criminal elements will be eliminated from the city at any costâ€
He said, in Karachi site area, most of the residents are laborers and they include Punjabi, Pashto and Urdu speaking people. The labor workings in the factories value even a small sum and are willing to undertake heinous tasks in exchange for monetary benefits.
“There is no organized criminal gang in Karachi however with the start of targeted operations the criminals are retaliating by targeting innocent residentsâ€, he added.
Brig Hamid said, rangers are fully prepared to continue the target operations in Karachi irrespective of the fact their lives are on stake.
“Either the criminals would be eliminated or they would prefer running away from the city to safeguard their livesâ€, Brigadier Rangers concluded.
