ISLAMABAD, Oct 30 (Online): Senator Awami National Party (ANP) Haji Adeel has said that ANP will oppose the proposed Local Bodies (LB) Bill of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

On Wednesday, while talking to media persons outside the parliament house, ANP senator said, “PTI wants to hold LB polls on non party basis in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), while it has opposed such polls in Punjab”.

He said, PTI is bringing contradiction in its stance by opposing non-party basis polls in Punjab and holding it in KPK.

PTI should prove its ability by eliminating its dual standards and must conduct LB polls early on party or non-party basis, he added.

Haji Adeel said, conducting LB polls on the basis biometric system is a funny thing.

“Because computerized system is not installed in all across the country, then how only in KPK biometric polls could be held?” he concluded.
