Section 144 imposed in Peshawar for one month

PESHAWAR, Nov 1 (Online): The Deputy Commissioner of Peshawar, Friday, imposed section 144 under Cr. PC and it shall remain enforce for one month.
According to media reports, this order shall come into force forthwith and shall remain enforce for one month with immediate effect.
The order further prohibits writing/distribution of objectionable pamphlets/posters or wall chalking especially on mosques and Imam Bargahs in the city.
Use of tinted glasses on private and public vehicles, display /carriage of weapons, printing/circulation of objectionable materials, sale and use of fire crackers during Muharram, opening of shops dealing in acids and sale of acids, sale of diesel/petrol/kerosene oil and other fuels in shops or in open areas and use of loudspeakers other than for “Aazaan and Khutbas†has also been banned.
Anyone found violating this order shall be proceeded against under section 188 PPC.
