PAF to induct hi-tech weapon system

KARACHI, Nov 1 (Online): Air Vice Marshal Saeed Muhammad Khan, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Training) said that Pakistan Air Force has taken bold decisions to induct hi-tech weapon system.

He expressed these views while addressing the passing out parade of Aero Apprentices Entry was held at PAF Base, Korangi Creek here on Friday.

Addressing the Aero Apprentices the Chief Guest said, however, such developments call for a complete transformation and necessitate incorporation of a corresponding concept of maintenance in the PAF.

Saeed Khan said that Pakistan Air Force ensures such balance through professional excellence and quality training that is periodically reviewed to incorporate contemporary training concepts and methodologies.

He said, “Pakistan Air Force while meeting the challenges of the defence also remains committed along with the nation in fulfilling all its national obligations”.

Other than PAF Aero Apprentices, personnel from Pakistan Navy and friendly countries also completed their technical training. Asghar Khan Trophy for Best in Aeronautics Technology was awarded to Air Craftsman Irfan Ahmed; Noor Khan Trophy for Best in Avionics Technology was awarded to Air Craftsman Masood; Trophy for the Best in General Service Training was awarded to Air Craftsman Wg Sgt Asif Ali; and Chief of the Air Staff’s Trophy for the Overall Best Performance was awarded to Air Craftsman Irfan.
