Telephone exchange building blown up

PESHAWAR Nov 4 (Online): The telephone exchange building in the Meli Khel area of Peshawar was blown up in a bomb explosion on Monday.
The building was empty and therefore there was no loss of life.
A remote-controlled bomb explosion in Peshawar killed two police officers and injured eight on October 7. The explosion took place near a hospital in the Budh Bher area of the city. According to details, the police van which was providing security to a polio team was targeted.
At least 38 people were killed and 100 others had sustained injuries in a blast in Peshawar’s Qissa Khwani area on September 29. Reports had suggested that the attack’s principal target was a nearby police station. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
At least 19 people were killed and 44 others had sustained injuries in an explosion inside a van on Charsadda Road, Peshawar on September 27. The attack had targeted a bus of Civil Secretariat employees that was carrying around 30-40 people.
A twin suicide bombing had killed at least 78 people and injured over a 100 others at a church service in Peshawar on September 22, officials had said, in what is believed to be the country’s deadliest attack on Christians.
