EX PPI Staffer expires

QUETTA Nov 19 (PPI): Former Bureau Chief Pakistan Press International (PPI) News Agency Quetta Bureau Syed Azam Ali expired after protracted illness in Karachi Tuesday. He was 84. He leaved behind a widow, a son and a daughter.
Azam Ali started his journalistic career in 1958 after joining Start News Agency. He also served Radio Pakistan and retired as Deputy Controller News. Then he joined PPI News Agency at Quetta and remained associated with the Agency as Bureau Chief for about 13 years.
His family sources told he would be laid to rest at Defence area Karachi Wednesday afternoon.
