QUETTA, Nov 20 (INP): Increase in flour prices in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan has caused serious concerns among common man as in retail market flour was being sold for Rs 45/kg.

According to market sources, due to lack of interest of price control committees and administration the flour dealers have increased prices at their own.

The official rate of wheat flour for retailers is Rs 37/kg but the sellers are making profit of eight rupees per kilogram.

The citizens criticized the administration for failure to implement the official rates. They demanded the high authorities for strict action against the profiteers.

Meanwhile, flour dealers were of the view that flour mills have increased the rates besides rise in transportation charges and they can’t sell it on the rates fixed by price control committees.
