Credit of peaceful polls goes to Baloch people: CM

QUETTA, Dec 7 (Online): Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch expressed satisfaction over the law and order situation in the province during today’s local bodies elections and said the credit of peaceful polls go exclusively to the Baloch people.

“The provincial government has been making preparations in this regard for one and half months,” he said, while talking to acting Chief Election Commissioner Justice Nasirul Mulk.

The other provinces also should follow suit in the footsteps of Balochistan, CM Abdul Malik said asserting the electoral process is by and large peaceful.

On this occasion, the acting CEC lauded the provincial government for making excellent arrangements for the polls. “Balochistan set an example for others by holding peaceful local governments elections.”

Balochistan government is out and out impartial in holding today’s elections, he claimed.
