Private hospitals made bound to dispose off waste

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has decided to make the private hospitals bound to dispose off their respective hospitals’ waste at their own. Otherwise action would be taken against them.
The decision to this effect was made during a recent meeting held here recently. The meeting was chaired by the Chief Minister, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch.
The meeting actually had reviewed overall performance of the health sector in the province. The senior Provincial Minister, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Provincial Minister for Health, Mir Rehmat Baloch, Provincial Minister for Planning and Development, Dr. Hamid Khan Achakzai, Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhel, Chief Secretary, Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad and other concerned attended the meeting.
The Chief Minister was briefed about the state of health affairs in the province. The meeting also decided to take necessary steps for establishment of dental college in the province. The college would be made functional by end of March, 2014, it was decided further.
It was also decided to take action against the quakes in the province.
The meeting has also decided to link the Shaikh Zayed Hospital with the Bolan Medical College (BMC).
