QUETTA: The Member Provincial Assembly belonging to Pashtoonkhaw Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), Nasarullah Zeray has said that maximum allocation for education in the current financial year budget is a clear proof of the provincial government’s education friendly approach in the province.
In view of the educational backwardness, there is a dire need to provide maximum educational facilities to the youth and establish educational institutions in the remote areas of the province, which otherwise were ignored in the past, stated the MPA Zeray while addressing a meeting of the Institute of Social Policy Sciences here the other day.
He noted with concern that no government school was established in the old settlements near the metropolis for last 30 years even, thus their population was kept backward consciously.
He said that the present government had taken the challenge of the educational backwardness and thus is taking steps for removing it.
He stressed that there is a need to pay attention towards quality of education besides establishing new educational institutions in the province.
Nasarullah Zeray on the occasion applauded the efforts made by the Institute of Social Policy Sciences for the cause of education and social sectors in the province.
