Eid Milad un Nabi: Countrywide security high alert

KARACHI Jan 13 (Online): Security has been stepped up in countrywide high alert ahead of Eid Milad un Nabi (SAW) on Monday.
Pillion riding has been banned in several cities and towns of Pakistan, while cellular services will also be suspended in scores of cities.
In Karachi 5000 security men will be deployed for the security of central procession of Eid Milad un Nabi.
Local administration has imposed ban over motorbike riding in Dera Ismail Khan on 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal, while mobile phones would be silent from 8:00 in the morning till 6:00 pm.
Cellular services will also be suspended in Peshawar from 12:00 in noon.
In Sargodha 2000 policemen have been deployed for the security of Eid Milad un Nabi processions.
The hospitals have cancelled leaves of doctors and the para-medical staff on the day to meet any eventuality.
