Eid Malad Nabi (SAW) celebrated with religious fervour

SARGODHA, Jan 14 (APP): Like other parts of the country,
Eid Milad un Nabi (SAWW) was celebrated with religious fervour
and enthusiasm in the district on Tuesday.
The celebrations started with special prayers in all city
mosques. Various seminars and congregations were held to mark
the day.
The main procession of Miladun Nabi (SAWW) was taken out
from Jamia Masjid Hamid Ali Shah which concluded at the same point
before Namaz e Zuhr after passing through Shaheen Chowk, Kutchehry
Bazaar, Ameen Bazaar, Rail Bazaar, Liaqat Market, Muslim Bazaar,
Sharbat Chowk, Muhammadi Bazaar, Urdu Bazaar, Faisal Bazaar, Goll
Chowk, City Road, Azaad Road, Purana Patha Mandi Chowk, Khushab Road,
Dairy Wala Bazaar, Purana Baraf Khana Chowk Block-15, Goal Chowk
Masjid, City Road and Mian Khan Road.
Other Milad processions also joined the main procession at different
places of the route.
Police personnel remained alert to cope with any untoward
situation as the police had made foolproof security arrangements
and almost 1700 police officials were deputed for 55 processions.
As many as 1,200 male and 100 female volunteers performed
security duty on the occasion.
At the end of procession, ulema delivered speeches and
threw light on the sacred life of Holy Prohpet Hazrat Muhammad
(SAWW) and offered 'dua' for peace, prosperity and solidarity
of the country.
