TTP wants written govt assurances to ending actions against them

ISLAMABAD, 16 Feb (Online): The Banned outfit of TTP (Tehrik-E-Taliban Pakistan) wants written assurances of government regarding ending actions against Taliban, prior to any cease-fire.

Sources close to official committee’s sources has disclosed that TTP has serious reservations over government’s actions against Taliban elements, being carried out in all major cities of Pakistan , including Karachi .

As such Taliban want written guarantees from Pakistan Army, Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, Defense minister Khawaja Asif, interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and other luminaries.

Taliban have warned that they would not stop their actions unless actions against them were also stopped.
