LAHORE , Feb 19 (Online) - Session Court has directed the Punjab government to pay Rs. 100,600 in blood money to mother of deceased Faheem in Raymond Davis case.

Additional session judge Akmal Khan issued the order on a request filed by victim's mother Musarat Bibi.

Meanwhile, the court ordered the government to submit compliance report in the next hearing.

CIA contractor Raymond Davis, murdered two men including Faheem in a busy Lahore street on January 27, 2011.

Davis was released in March 2011 on court’s directives after blood money was paid in accordance with sharia law.

The shooting incident had ruptured diplomatic relations with the United States, who repeatedly insisted Davis was an embassy employee and enjoyed diplomatic immunity, particularly after it emerged he was working for the CIA.
