Pakistan resolved for non-proliferation of nuclear technology: PM

ISLAMABAD, March 11 (Online): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan was resolved for non-proliferation of nuclear technology, and endeavored to use ‘Green Technology’ for producing electricity.

During his Tuesday meeting with DG-IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) at the Prime Minister House, Nawaz said that Pakistan had closest support of IAEA since 1957.

He also deliberated that Pakistan endeavored to seek IAEA cooperation for successful production of ‘Green Technology’, which was already in use by such sectors as medicine, agriculture and food security.

Nawaz said that that Pakistan had always been pursuing the global resolve of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, while he also lauded IAEA’s role in such endeavors.
