Balochistan Sports Festival to get underway from today

QUETTA mar 21 (PPI): Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch would inaugurate Balochistan Sports Festival is getting underway from Saturday. Twenty six sorting events would be competed during Sports festival. The vent would continue till March 29.
According to details arrangements have been firmed up for organizing Balochistan Sports Festival from March 22 to 29. Security arrangement shave been beefed up and Security forces have taken Ayub Stadium the main venue where events would be held in their control. Events would also be held at Government Girls College. Eighteen hundred players would be taking part in the week long sporting festival.
These include athletics, badminton, basket ball, body building, cricket, cycling, football, hockey, karate, archery, boxing, chess, rifle shooting, squash, table tennis, taekwondo, weight lifting, and water sports. Women Games including athletics, badminton, football, throw ball, cricket and volleyball would be held at Shola Ground and Girl College Quetta Cantt.
During the festival Media Day would be observed on March 23, martyrs Day on March 24, Artistes Day March 25, Teachers Day march 26 and Special Children Day would be held on March 27.
In addition marathon race would also be organised on Mar 29. It would be held from Airport road to Provincial assembly.
