CM opens Balochistan Sports Festival

QUETTA mar 22 (PPI): Balochistan was passing through difficult period and government was facing situation with courage. People should support us in Jihad against terrorism.
This was stated by Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch at the inauguration of Balochistan Sports Festival at Ayub Stadium here Saturday.
Commander southern Command Lt General Nasser Khan Janjua, provincial ministers, elected representatives, senior government officers, and large number of people were present.
Chief Minister said provincial coalition consisting of PML-N, National party and Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party were mobilizing their energies for betterment of children and promotion of sports. He said every segment of society should back us against terrorism in the country which was cutting throats of each other with different names because we have to end hatred and join people with each other.
He said a large number of female are include dint he festival. He asked women to come forward and play their role in making a peaceful and developed Pakistan. He said for a peaceful Pakistan it is necessary women are work with their men shoulder to shoulder. He said media was showing to the world people in Balochistan are also living and they love sports. He aid we would continue to take care of the future of the nation. We would take Balochistan away form poverty and harmonise it with demands of 21 st Century.
He also directed for organizing Festival in all the districts.

More than 1800 players and contestants would take part in Sports Festival in 26 sports which would continue till March 29.
During the festival Media Day would be observed on March 23, martyrs Day on March 24, Artistes Day March 25, Teachers Day march 26 and Special Children Day would be held on March 27.
In addition marathon race would also be organised on Mar 29. It would be held from Airport road to Provincial assembly.
Strict security measures have been made for the occasion.
