Qaid Residency to be fully restored in August

QUETTA, April 1 (APP): The Qaid-e-Azam Residency located in the Ziarat district of Balochistan province would be fully restored in its original shape on 14 August.
"Qaid Residency is our national asset and it shall be restored in its original shape as soon as possible," says Babar Yaqoob Fateh Mohammad, Chief Secretary Balochistan while addressing at a review meeting held here at CS secretariat, Tuesday.
Additional Chief Secretary Development Aslam Shakir Baloch, secretary for culture Sarwar Javed, secretary for information Abdullah Jan, secretary for S&GAD Rizwan Memon, secretary for C&W Ilyas Lashari, Commissioner Sibi division Shaharyar Khan Bazai and Deputy Commissioner Diarat Yasir Khan attended the meeting.
CS directed the officials concerned to speed up the pace of work on the restoration of the residency and to complete it before August. No negligence in this connection would be tolerated, as it is our national asset, he emphasized.
Babar Yaqoob called upon the relevant authorities to present him weekly report about the progress made in the construction and restoration of the Qaid residency.
Earlier, meeting was apprised about the pace of work on the residency which was destroyed by the armed men couple of months back.
