Another rain spell to start from Wednesday

ISLAMABAD, Apr 1 (APP): Another rain spell of the ongoing Spring season would start from Wednesday in the upper areas of the country, according to the weather experts, turning the weather pleasant.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the
weather system, presently prevailing over Iran approached Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday night and would grip upper parts of the country on Wednesday.
The places including upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, upper Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are likely to receive scattered rain with thunderstorm on Wednesday.
Scattered rain and thunderstorm are likely in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat and Bannu divisions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha and Lahore divisions in upper Punjab.
Another weather system is likely to approach northern parts of Balochistan on Friday and likely to grip upper parts of the country on Saturday.
This weather system will also cause scattered rain and thunderstorm
in northern Balochistan, including Quetta, Zhob and Kalat divisions on Friday night and Saturday and in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan on Saturday and Sunday.
Rainfed areas of wheat growing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab
are likely to receive good rain during the weekend. However, weather will remain dry in southern Punjab and Sindh during the period.
Rain will be accompanied by windstorm or hailstorm at isolated
places in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Kohat divisions during the weekend.
