NEW DEHLI, April 22 (Online): India’s right wing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is barring Pakistanis to access its official party website by blocking it in Pakistan.
Logging from anywhere inside Pakistan, BJP website shows “Error 1009 The owner of this website (bjp.org) has banned your IP address (—) on the country or region you are accessing it from,â€
Therefore, internet users from Pakistan have to mask their IP addresses to log on to the website of the India’s right wing party.
The move is not entirely astonishing with the party’s traditional stance in relation to Pakistan and with Modi stressing a hard stand against the country if his party wins elections this year.
