QUETT A may 26 (PPI): Our reservations about talks between Taliban and Government have proved true. Unless any decision is taken by taking people into confidence, dialogue with Taliban area meaningless. Military operation is no solution to problem. Government should pave way for talks.
These views were expressed by Amir Jamiat Ulema e Islam and Chairman NA Kashmir committee Maulana Fazlur Rehman while speaking to party workers after offering Fateha for the departed soul of Haji Abdul Ghani Kakar father of provincial leader Haji Muhammad Haneef Kakar.
Secretary General Maulana Abdul Graford Hydri, Joint Secretary Malik Sikandar Khan Advocate and others were also present.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said increase in military operation in North Waziristan is alarming in which not only innocent people were being targeted but it would have bad impacts on whole of the country and acts such as terrorism would rise again.
New government in India is decision of people. We cannot make interference in the internal matters of any country. We hope that there will be headway on Kashmir issue. Best relations with neighbouring countries should be our topmost priority of our foreign policy.
He said JUI is a countrywide and major political party. Under a conspiracy it was kept away from parliament on May 11. We have most reservations over May 11 elections but we never support any step which may harm democracy and danger of instability to the country. He asked party workers to create unity in their ranks and files and make full preparations for coming general elections to seek victory all over the country including Balochistan.
