QUETTA May 26 (PPI): Provincial Secretary Home has said that levies personnel by sacrificing their Levies have proved to be good forces and written a history. Their sacrifices would go in golden words in history for maintenance of law and order. It is beacon light for other officials of the force.
Loss of eight levies men in attack of levies Check Post in Wadh (Khuzdar) is big tragedy and we all including government are grieved. Our morale has gone up after martyrdom of these Levies officials.
He expressed these views while addressing officers and others at District Secretariat after condoling with relatives of Levies men killed in Wadh.
Secretary Home said provincial government believes in restoration of peace. Levies officials by sacrificing their lives did not allow law and order to deteriorate. Their sacrifices are beacon light for other officials of the force.
He said Levies Force, Police and other law enforcement agencies are active and they would do much more than this for establishing peace and order. He said besides law and order in urban areas steps would also be taken to ensure security of national highways. He said to ensure sense to security to business persons and passengers highways would be made secure.
He said besides forces to ensure law and order responsibility also lays on notables of areas, political and social personalities, business community and people form various segments of society to fully support administration in maintaining law and order.
Earlier Home Secretary visited Levies Check post along National highways where eight Levies men were killed in attack.
Later he visited residences of martyred Levies officials and expressed condolence. He assured their relatives that government would take special measures to provide them justice.
