LORALAI June 2 (PPI): People can file their cases with Provincial Ombudsman except those which are being heard by Balochistan High Court. These cases can be field without the help of any lawyer. People would get justice.
This was stated by provincial ombudsman Abdul Wasay Tareen while speaking to people at open kutchery he held here Monday.
Secretary Ombudsman Riaz Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner Loralai Engineer Abdul Wahid Kakar and district officers were present.
He said Ombudsman work was continuing since Caliph Omar (RA).This system started in Pakistan in 1983 and in Balochistan since 2001.
He said it is our desire to have this system in all the districts so that citizens could get justice t their doorsteps.
Secretary Ombudsman Riaz Ahmed and DC Loralai Engineer Abdul Wahid Kakar also spoke on the occasion.
People form different areas gave applications to the Ombudsman. He handed over these applications to concerned officers and directed them to take action.
Several applicants were asked to report to Ombudsman Secretariat in Quetta.
