Guard shoots Minority MPA

QUETTA June 14 (PPI); Minority MPA from ruling coalition partner Hendry Masih was shot and killed by his own guard here Saturday. Nephew of Hendry Masih was injured in firing.
According to details Minority MPA from ruling National party Hendry Masih was going to his home in Nawan Killi Area here today. His security guard opened fire on him. Hendry Masih and his nephew were seriously injured in the firing. They were shifted to FC hospital where Hendry Masih succumbed to his injuries. Doctors said that two bullets hit Hendry Masih in the neck and arm while his nephew suffered a wound in the leg.
Dead body of Hendry Masih was brought to civil hospital for post mortem. Dead body was then handed over to its relatives.
Christian community people staged a dharna at Jinnah road in front of civil hospital and blocked the road. Angry people broke windowpanes of emergency ward of the hospital. Christians took dead body to Nawan Killi in a procession. Young men chanted emotional slogans. They demanded security to minority in Balochistan. They said that this is open terrorism and killer should be handed in public.
SPOKES PERSON CONDEMNS: Spokes Person to Balochistan Chief Minister Jan Muhammad Buledi while condemning murder of MPA Hendry Masih Baloch said that it is not murder of Hendry Masih but murder of democracy. We have deprived of a good friend.
He said an accused has been arrested after the incident. He said he was not only representative of minority community but representative of national party. His killing is murder of democracy. In his death Party has been deprived of a good friend who would be remembered for years together. He said all efforts would b e mobilised to accomplish his mission.
