QUETTA July 7 (PPI): Due to differences between Federal and Khyber Pashtoonkhwa Governments hundreds of thousand of IDPs from North Waziristan were facing multiple problems and difficulties. Government should remove differences and take measures to resolve problems of IDPs.
This was stated by former Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Sherpao while speaking to newsmen after appearing in the ATC in Nawab Bugti murder case here Monday.
He said hearing of the case was not held last time and it was not also held today. However he hoped for justice.
He said due to differences between Federal and KP governments IDPs from Waziristan were faced with severe difficulties. Performance of Federal and KP governments is equal to nothing and they were leveling charges against each other and for this reason their difficulties were increasing.
Sherpao added Pakistan is confronted with difficulties and this is no time for public meetings, processions and staging dharnas. Government should appeal for international assistance for IDPs or another tragedy can take place.
While condemning ban on entry of IDPs by provinces he said this can increase problems. He said IDPs were also suffering form various diseases mostly women and children. If government did not take timely action majority of IDPs can suffer form diseases.
