governor opens All Pakistan T20 Cricket Cup

QUETTA July 7 (PPI): Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai has said that province was changing and a new morning was dawning. Its proof is today?s historic night and impressive ceremony in which not only massive number of guests from not only Balochistan but from other provinces of the country is also present.
He said this while inaugurating All Pakistan T20 Cricket Cup 2014 at Bugti Stadium here Sunday night.
Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, Commander southern Command Lt General Nasser Khan Janjua, provincial ministers Sarfraz Bugti, Khalid Langav, Abdul Malik, Sardar Raza Muhammad Barech, IG FC Major General Muhammad Ejaz Shahid, senior civil and military officers attended.
Bugti stadium was jam packed with an estimated 35 to 40 thousand spectators which would go in golden word sin the provincial history.
Governor said All Pakistan T 20 Cricket Cup was a beginning of bright future of youth of Balochistan and the day is not far away when they would not only become part of national cricket team but also brighten name of the province at the international arenas.
School children and management presented national songs, gymnastic, puppet show, regional dances and fire works.
At the inaugural ceremony an exhibition match between Governor XI and CM XI was played. CM XI won the match by 8 wickets.
Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, Commander southern Command Lt General Nasser Khan Janjua, IG FC Muhammad Ejaz Shahid distributed trophies and shields among the players show best performance.
Two matches would be played daily. First match would be played at 3 pm and another at 1030 pm.
