4 killed in shootout

QUETTA July 18 (PPI): Four persons of a family were killed in a shootout outside a mosque in Satellite Town area here Friday.
According to details people were coming out of mosque after offering Juma prayers in Mahmoodabad area of Satellite town here today. Armed men present there opened indiscriminate firing. As a result Haji Ibrahim, his son Muhammad Ayub, grand son Faiz Muhammad and another Amir Muhammad were seriously injured. They were shifted to hospital. On their way they succumbed to their injuries.
It could not be established immediately whether it was target killing or result of old enmity.
FC reached the scene and started search of armed men.
Relatives of those killed in firing reached hospital. Police and FC condoned the area to avert any further eventuality.
A case was registered and investigation initiated.
