QUETTA July 19 (PPI): Country?s 68 th Independence Day would be celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor. Different ceremonies and functions would be held in Quetta and other districts of the province.
This was stated by Secretary General PML-N Balochistan Naseebullah Bazai at a press conference here Saturday.
He said Pakistan was achieved after great sacrifices. Sixty seven years have passed to the advent of Pakistan. He said 67 year earlier creation of Pakistan was a challenge and there had been issue of its survival and stability. That same spirit and unity is needed today which was shown by Muslims of sub continent in 1940.
He aid Independence Day f this year is deducted to Shaheed and Ghazis of present war for their sacrifices. He aid Independence Day celebrations would start on August 1 Friday with prayer or Pakistan?s stability and security during Juma prayers. These celebrations would continue till August 14. From August 1 PML-N Ministers, MNA, MPAs, Councilors, District and Tehsil office bearers and workers would hoist national flags at their houses, shops, vehicles and motorcycles. Ceremonies, rallies, seminars would be held at all district and Tehsil headquarters and cakes cut. He said candles would be lit for martyrs of Tehreek Pakistan on the ravening of August 13 at public places.
