Hot, humid weather likely in most parts of country

ISLAMABAD, Sept 17 (APP): The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD)
on Tuesday forecast mainly hot and humid weather for most parts of the country during next 24 hours.
However, rain with thunderstorm is expected at one or two places in
Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan during next 24 hours.
According to the synoptic situation, weak seasonal low was lying over
northwest Balochistan and adjoining areas. A shallow westerly wave was also prevailing over northern areas of the country.
The weather will remain hot and humid in most parts of Punjab, Sindh,
Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the next 24 hours.
In Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, the weather will remain partly cloudy
during the next 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours
were Nokkundi 41 C and Turbat, Mithi and Dalbandin 40 C.
The maximum temperatures recorded in the other cities were:
Islamabad 32 C , Lahore 34 C, Karachi 34 C, Peshawar 35 C, Quetta 32 C, Murree 23 C and Muzaffarabad 35 C.
