QUETTA July 26 (PPI): Water shortage problem in Zhob would be resolved on permanent basis. Strict action would be taken against officers creating problems in this way and their bad work would be rectified.
This was stated by President PML Balochistan and Provincial Minister Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhel here Saturday.
He said it would be our priority 10 inch pipeline laid form Kapip dam Siliazai to Zhob City should supply 10 inch water We would not tolerate there is flow of 3 inch water in this 10 in pipeline. We are even ready this case should be referred to NAB, We warn that those who done it bad should redress it on emergency basis and provide potable water to the people in true spirit.
He said this greater water project was not gifted to us but we have done a lot of efforts for it. We would not allow any one to foil these efforts and fatten their pockets with the money of people. He said he was surprised those new comers into PHE why are silent spectator over massive embezzlement. It appears entire new administration was playing role to cover up embezzlement of previous officers and to save them. But their dream would not be materialized.
Jaffar Mandokhel said we also warn officers of other government departments to set their direction right or he would invite Anti Corruption and NAB to visit Zhob. He aid we would also investigate at our level who such a big project from Kapip Dam was handled so badly. An investigation team would be constituted in which District administration Zhob would also cooperate and he would monitor this investigation. It would be such an investigation that nothing would remain hidden.
We direct officers to set them right prior to going to jail. He said PHE should immediately supply water in New Abadi, Ganj Mohallah, Radio Station Mohalla . he said would end water shortage in Zhob city at every cost.
