Governance Support Programme approves 15.7 m for ACE

QUETTA Aug 1 (PPI): Governance Support Programme has accorded approval for Rupees 15.7 million to increase working of Anti Corruption Establishment (SCE).
According to details Director Governance Support Programme Muhammad Zaman Khan and Director Noor Mubashar Sami of Anti Corruption Department signed a agreement to strengthen provincial government priorities of corruption free society signed an agreement. Financial Management Specialist Governance Support Programme and Assistant Director Anti Corruption Department were also present.
It is aimed at to strengthen system of transparency and accountability in the society and remove complaints of citizens about corruption.
Under the project officials of Anti Corruption Establishment would be provided with modern equipment, technical and manpower assistance. Call centres would be setup with hot line, toll free number, registration of people?s complaints about corruption and redressal of these complaints as well as keeping complainants abreast. A website would also be developed to obtain information about to check corruption.
A movement would also be launched in the print and electronic media about reduction in corruption and its investigation and creating awareness among the masses. Concerned staff would also be trained about indication of corruption in various departments and its investigation.
For establishing corruption free society in Pakistan Inter provincial Coordination Forum would also be setup along with other provinces to benefit from their experiences.
