Pak Iran Joint border Commission delegation meets Governor

QUETTA Aug 7 (PPI): Pakistan and Iran are brotherly neighbouring countries having long historic, cultural and economic relations.
Pakistan and Iran particularly Balochistan and Sistan have vast opportunities of development and cooperation.
These views were expressed by Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai while welcoming a delegation of Pakistan Iran Joint Border Commission which called on him here Thursday.
Governor said there exist opportunities for cooperation among trade, agriculture, fishery, energy, railways and communication and other sectors. He said there also exist possibility of mutual border trade between Gwadar and Jewani and Chahbahar. He aid there is need for cooperation among two countries for peace and economic development in the area.
Leader of Iranian delegation Nader Shaker said that purpose of his visit is promotion of trade ties between Balochistan and Sistan and exchange of mutual experiences besides removing difficulties and hurdles in Pak-Iran trade. He aid visit of Governor Sistan Dr Hashmi to Pakistan would help promote trade and would have far reaching impacts.
Iranian delegation and Balochistan Governor also exchanged gifsts on the occasion.
