IG FC chairs security conference

QUETTA sep 19 (PPI): Inspector General Frontier Corps Balochistan Major General Muhammad Ejaz Shahid has called upon all the concerned agencies to extend full cooperation for exchange of information with each other under security mechanism besides special arrangements for improving law and order situation in Quetta Division so that terrorists and criminal elements could be dealt with effectively.
He expressed these views while presiding over security conference at FC Headquarters here Friday.
Inspector General Balochistan Police Amlish Khan, CCPO Abdul Razzaq Cheema, Commissioner Quetta Division Qambar Dashti and senior officers of FC attended.
Conference was briefed on special security measures made for law and order in Quetta division particularly recent wave of terrorist with reference to target killing.
Major General Ejaz Shahid reiterated commitment of Frontier Corps that no sacrifice would be spared to make Balochistan peaceful particularly Quetta an exemplary city. He added that effective coordination would be made with people and administration for checking terrorism and for law and order situation so that economic activities go on uninterrupted in Quetta City and province could make headway.
He also expressed hope that other organisations would also extend cooperation for establishing peace and order in the province and people?s welfare.
