We have to take forward his mission. Journalists are eyes and ears of society. We should keep our eyes and ears open for problems of oppressed and suppressed strata of our society and write for them.
He said today the biggest challenge the province and the country facing was intolerance.

Politicla and social parties ending their difference between acts and deeds should support journalists organsiations for the security of jorunalsits raisign voice of truth. Behaviour of national media with journalist sof Baochistna is like political aprties.Alhamdullillah after amrtyrdomfo Irshad Matoi Centrla organsition PFUJ held countrywide protest against murder of Irshad Matoi and his colleagues that this was loss of journalists at the national level and they can go to the last for the arrest of killers of Irshad mastoid. When one of his hand was chopped in an incident in Gwadar during a ceremony of NFC award he wept because he wrote for raising voice of suppressed people. Despite this incident he decided to maintain sanctity of pen and started writing with left hand and continued to highlight problems of people deprived of basic amenities of life. His martyrdom showed us new ways of struggle. Taking forward his mission is our responsibility and we would carry it forward. Noted writer Agha Gull said people like Irshad Mastoi take birth in centuries. There is no democracy in Paksitna and Balchistan. There is dictatorship and inheritance in the face of democracy in force. Developed nations had admitted 300 years ago that by raising walls no one can be provided security. Our rulers were building high walls to divide us from our taxes. With the buldign of such walls our society was being divided at the same time sense fo grief and sorrow was also diminishing.
In Balochistan speaking of oppression with reference to Sardars, Nawabs and powerful tribes is worth killing since 1892 and preaching truth against suppressors is also worth killing. And perhaps Irshad was killng killed for the sme crime.
Meanwhile Shamila Farooqi Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister telephoned Chaudhry Imtiaz and expressed her condolence over the martyrdom of Irshad and his colleagues and paid tributes over their valuable services.
