QUETTA Sep 30 (PPI): A pandemonium marred Balochistan Assembly her e Tuesday when JUI MPA Abdul Rehman Khetran moved a resolution to bring Khan of Kalat back to Pakistan. Khan of Kalat was presently leading a self exiled life in foreign. The House however adopted the resolution after exchange of hot words among the members.
Deputy Speaker Abdul Quddus Bizenjo chaired the session.
Resolution asked provincial government to form a Jirga of assembly members to visit London to hold dialogues with Khan of Kalat Agha Suleman Daud to return to Pakistan so that he could play his due role for restoration of peace in Balochistan.
Balochistan Chief Minister and leader of House Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch speaking on the resolution said that he was holding dialogues with Khan of Kalat, Baloch militants and religious extremists for peace in the province.
He said that and Senator Hasil Bizenjo met with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and apprised him about the issues of Balochistan including recovery of mutilated dead bodies and missing persons, the Premier said that he was fully aware of these issues and to resolve them.
He said that the federal government and All Parties Conference held in Islamabad assigned him task to hold dialogues with militants to bring peace in Balochistan.
Chief Minister said "I give statement with fully responsibility from this house that I am engaged in talks with Khan of Kalat, Baloch militants and religious extremists for the cause of peace in Balochistan," adding that he respected Khan of Kalat and he wanted his return to Pakistan. He said that he was ready to form Jirga to meet Khan of Kalat to agree to return to Pakistan.
He said that Baloch militants should join democratic way to bring prosperity and progress in Balochistan.
Malik Baloch said situation has improved in Quetta, Panjgur, Turbat Kalat, and Khuzdar. He said bazaars remained open during Ramzan and shopkeepers came to him and cingulated him for peace. We respect suggestions of Opposition. We also support this resolution. He said Nawab Khair Bakhsh, Ghaus Bakhsh Bizenjo and Wali Khan were big leaders. Did they not hold talks. We would form a jirga and send it to brign Khan of Kalat back to Pakistan.
Abdul Rehman Khetran said that return of Khan of Kalat would help resolving law and order issue.
Deputy Speaker Abdul Quddus Bizenjo said it is hoped leader fo House would make more efforts in this regard.
House passed the resolution without any opposition.
