QUETTA Nov 2 (PPI): Baloch and Pashtoons have centuries old relations. Any group of individual may have differences but it cannot be ended. If growing religious extremism was not ended in Balochistan future of coming generations would be at stake and political parties would face problems.
These views were expressed by President National Party Senator Hasil Bizenjo at a Press conference in which people forms Pashtoon areas announced to join National party here Sunday.
Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, National Party Secretary General Tahir Bizenjo. Spokes person of provincial government Jan Muhammad Buledi, Siddiq Panezai, Raifullah Mandokhel, Abdul Mannan Durrani and others also spoke.
Provincial ministers Rehmat Saleh Baloch, Aslam Bizenjo, MPA Dr Shama Ishaq, National Party provincial president Dr Yasin Baloch were also present.
Hasil Bizenjo said Balochistan is province of all the nations. There is need for love instead of creating hatred. Unfortunately after dismemberment of Soviet Union intellectuals here divided and left political field. It is our strive to get people united again so that problems are resolved. There might be differences among some groups and personalities but Baloch and Pashtoon relations are so strong Baloch despite their majority in Iran when feel problems go to Afghanistan.
He said Baloch Pashtoon harmony enhanced from Wali Khan and Ghaus Bakhsh Bizenjo period. He said National party is active in Baloch areas. Though it is not active in Pashtoon areas yet those who joined party today would help activate party in Pashtoon areas. He said historically two major nations live in Balochistan and no such incident has ever taken place where both Baloch and Pashtoon hate them. He said Baloch and Pashtoon leadership has to think the manner religious extremism was being promoted how to eliminate it or minimize it. If increases doors of politics would also close.
Secretary General Tahir Bizenjo said that for the last some years National party was organised in Balochistan but our position in Pashtoon areas is weak.here.
