QUETTA Nov 3 (PPI): Tragedy of Karbala is such an unforgettable turn of human history which not only clearly pointed out difference between truth and lie but it would remain beacon light for humanity forever.
These views were expressed by Balochistan governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai and Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch in their separate messages on Yom e Ashur being observed Tuesday.
Governor Achakzai said tenth of Muharram is day of mourning for the Muslims. It is also day of proud that entire human history is unable to present supreme sacrifices rendered by Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his associates who sacrificed their lives for supremacy of Islam and righteousness.
He said this day reminds us we must taken a lesson from the example set by Hazrat Imam Hussain but should follow it in letter and spirit by understanding it.
He said Muslim should make a pledge on this day they would sink their petty differences by uniting like one Ummah and work for security of Deen Mubeen and progress of Islamic world and maintain unity and solidarity in our ranks and files.
He expressed hope that Muslims would observe Shahadat Hussain with respect and show solidarity by maintaining law and order and sectarian harmony.
Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch said in Karbala Imam Hussain (RA) and other Ahle Bait not only fought with courage occupational forces but made them to face defeat for ever.
He said to pay homage to Syedush Shuhada we must follow his uswa hasana and prove to be Millat Wahida by sinking all petty differences and by promoting unity among ourselves foil nefarious designs of terrorist elements.
He said sacrifice of martyrs of Karbala teaches us lesson of patience, tolerance and peace.
He expressed hope Ulema in their speeches would give lesson of Ittehad Bainal Muslimeen in their speeches and khutbat so that atmosphere of sectarian harmony, brotherhood and solidarity is promoted.
Governor and Chief Minister prayed may Allah keep our country and nation under his blessing and give us sustainable peace and security.
