QUETT A Nov 17 (PPI): Delay in implementation to decision of the provincial government for improvement of law and order, education, health and people?s welfare. Impediments in the implementation of provincial coalition would be removed immediately.
These views were expressed by Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch while chairing review meeting about implementation of various projects here Monday.
Additional Chief Secretary Development Ali Zaheer Hazara, Secretary Home Akbar Hussain Durrani, Acting IG Police Ahsan Mahbub, Secretary Secondary Education Abdul Saboor Kakar, Secretary Local Government Hafiz Abdul Basit, Secretary Health Arshad Bugti, Secretary Fianc? Mushtaq Ahmed Raisani and Secretary Higher education Ghulam Muhammad Sabir attended.
Chief Minister called report on providing vehicles and necessary facilities to administrative officers, final phase of local government polls, divisional education enclaves, upgradationof Bolan medical College to University status, establishment of Board of Intermediate in Khuzdar, Loralai and Turbat, appointments against vacant seats in provincial departments, devolvement of powers at lower level in health department.
He directed that vacant posts in provincial department should be advertised at the earliest and appointment should be made on merit. He said policy of devolvement of powers at the lower level in health department for facilitating people and improving performance of the department should be implemented.
He expressed anger over delay in building divisional Educational Enclaves.
Dr Malik Baloch directed for early completion of next phase of local bodies polls.
He said vacancies of lecturers should be advertised through Public Service Commission and other vacancies should be filled in through NTS at the earliest.
He also directed that difficulties in the establishment of board of Intermediate in Khuzdar, Loralai and Turbat should be removed and said that delay in the implementation of decisions and announcements of coalition government would not be tolerated. Concerned officials should continue to monitor projects for implementation of decisions.
