25 Marri tribesmen surrender before FC

SIBI Nov 17 (PPI): A group of 25 Marri tribesmen surrendered and laid down their weapons before Commandant Sibi Scouts here Monday.
They laid their weapons before Commandant Sibi Scouts Col Ahsan Raza Zaidi at a ceremony held here today. Deputy Commissioner Sohailur Rehman Baloch, DPO Muhammad Anwar Khetran, officers of Sibi Scouts attended in large numbers.
On the occasion 25 Ferraris from Marri tribe surrendered them to the law. They made oath by putting hand of holy Quran to lead peaceful life and not to support anti state elements. They were given cash and ration from FC.
Commandant Sibi Scouts Col Ahsan Raza Zaidi in his address on the occasion said FC was utilizing its capability for development and peaceful Balochistan and demonstrating practical service to the masses. Confidence of Ferraris one after other is reflective that everyone wants to maintain peace in Balochistan. We do nto make claims but take practical measures
He hoped all the surrendering Ferraris would utilize their energies for service to the country and the nation.
Marri Ferraris while welcoming government announcement of amnesty and special package for surrendering Ferraris said they would never support anti state elements and would lead a peaceful life as a patriot.
Inspector General Frontier Corps Balochistan Major General Muhammad Ejaz Shahid while appreciating surrender by Ferraris said whoever Ferrari would lay down his weapons and prove to be patriot we are with him and they would be provided opportunities to lead a peaceful life. He said situation in Balochistan was fast moving towards peace. Owing to better strategy and sincere policies of FC and other government institutions people were returning from mountains and joining national mainstream and servicing the nation and the country.
