CM distributes 370 laptops, cash prizes at UoB

QUETTA Nov 21 (PPI): Announcing admission to all new students at the Balochistan University and distribution of one thousand laptops among PhD and M Phil doers Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch announced no student would be deprived of education owing to shortage of seats or dearth of resources.
He made this announcement while addressing distribution of laptops and cheques of Rupees one hundred thousand each among students at UoB here Friday.
Chief Minister distributed laptops for 370 post graduates, Rupees one lakh cash prizes among Gold medalists and PhD students.
He had announced distribution of laptops at 11 th Convocation of the University.
He said upgrading of UoB to seventh level from 11 th among known universities of the country is good sign and satisfying.
Chief Minister said dearth of resources would not be impediment for improvement of education in the province. All students desirous of admission at the University would be admitted so that no student is deprived of education. He said government of Balochistan would bear additional resources for students desirous of admissions into the University.
He appreciated cooperation and role of students organisations for improving quality of education at the University. He aid we have to remove educational backwardness of Balochistan. We should hate illiteracy. Owing to development of human resources we can face challenges of the world and the country.
He had announced distribution of one thousand laptops among PhD and M Phil passers of Balochistan who could not get laptops from PM Laptop scheme, Rupees 10 million for Balochistan University under research while 100 desk tops for digital library of the university.
