QUETT A Dec 1 (PPI): Successful actions of Operation Zarb e Azb have foiled nefarious designs of terrorist elements. When these defeated elements faced defeat during operation Zarb e Azb and they failed to find shelter anywhere they began creating lawlessness and unrest in other parts of the country particularly Balochistan. They made efforts to transfer maximum arms and ammunition to various parts of Balochistan for the bloodshed of innocent people of the province. Following foreign agenda these extremists want to create terrorist activities in Baloch and Pashtoon areas alike so that they could be pitched against each other by creating misunderstanding.
These views were expressed by Provincial Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti while briefing Newsmen on the massive cache of arms and ammunition and explosive material at FC Madadgar Centre here Monday.
Commander Southern Command Lt General Nasser khan Janjua, Inspector General Balochistan Police Amlish Khan, IG FC Major General Muhammad Ejaz Shahid, Capital City Police Officer Abdul Razzaq Cheema and others also inspected the cache.
Home Minister said there is good working relationship between provincial government, Army and law enforcement agencies. We are committed to cleanse Balochistan of terrorists. We congratulate FC over its successful activities against terrorists.
He said our borders with neighbouring countries are very porous. FC has dug 400 Km ditch along Pak-Afghan border while work was underway to complete remaining portion of the border.
He said there is no existence of Daish in Balochistan. Wall chalking in this regard makes no difference he added. Demoralization of police force has been made moralized and it has been equipped fully.
Afghanistan is our brotherly neighbor. We desire peace in that country. There is no doubt Afghan refugees living in Pakistan are involved in deteriorating law and order situation with Indian secret Agency RAW.
He referred to some successful actions of FC Balochistan. In first action FC impounded a suspected single cabin vehicle on Nov 28 in Killa Saifullah area and recovered 3 RPG-7 1 hand grenades launchers along with 100 rounds, 650 7.6 mm calibre rounds, 134 high explosive mortar explosive rounds, 105 60 mm Mortar rounds. These weapons were being transported to Harnai form Wana for Baloch extremists. Driver and conductors of the vehicle were arrested.
In another action no Nov 26 FC rounded up five terrorists from Killi Noway in Zhob and recovered SMGs (19), rounds (1925), 303 rifles (2), 7 mm rifles (3), shot gun 12 bore (6), 40 mm rocket launchers (6) along with rockets, pistols (48) rounds (700) and Toyota Land Cruiser.
In third action in District Zhob FC impounded a truck and recovered 217 pistols form its secret cavities, 100 kalashinkov, 223 spare magazines, 248 spare parts of other weapons. 15 LMGs and 1000 rounds and arrested truck driver.
On Nov 14 FC in its action in Mohallah Khoh Dera Bugti raided house of Baloch Republican Army?s terrorist and rounded up four terrorists. Recovered from their possession were 1 heavy machine gun along with 175 rounds, 3 SMGs along with 17 magazines and 518 rounds, These terrorists are involved in attacks on security forces and gas pipelines.
IN yet another action FC impounded a suspected vehicle from hotel New Sabrina situation along RCD highway in Widner on Nov 11. Seized from it was explosive 30 Kg, kalashinkov 4, 9 mm pistols (6), magazines (2), repeater (1), hand grenades (4), improvised explosive devices (2) and 905 SMGs rounds.
FC also seized 5000 Kg explosive material (Aluminum powder) during these actions, Home Minister added.
He said FC on the orders of provincial government was dealing with terrorists with iron hands to ensure peace and order and monitoring of borders FC and other law enforcement agencies are working with provincial government to improve situation in the province.
