QUETTA Dec 1 (PPI): Providing healthy atmosphere free from atmospheric pollution to our children is our national duty. Healthy chidren are gurantee of our healthy future who can put the country and the nation on road to progress and prosperity.
These views were expressed by Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai while speaking to UNICEF delegation led by its Representatives in Pakistan Ms Angela Kearnet here Monday.
UNICEF Representatives while apprising Governor of its problems and difficulties said that Balochistan population is small but scattered. Still efforts are being made for registration of birth and eradication of polio and other diseases.
Governor while lauding UNICEF role said efforts being made to make children healthy are praise worthy.
He called that parents particularly need attention on anti polio, health and education of their children and cleanliness.
He assured UNICEF delegation of possible cooperation.
