Governor visits SOS village

QUETTA Dec 6 (PPI): To support unattended children and securing their future is responsibility of State. Making useful citizens of society to deprived children of fathers and mothers is responsibility of us all being a nation.
These views were expressed by Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai during his visit to SOS Village here Saturday.
Governor went round computer lab, dispensary, Zoo and Auditorium and freely mixed up with orphan girls and boys.
Chairperson SOS Village Senator (R ) Mrs Roshan Khursheed Bharucha, Secretary General Brig (R ) Abdu Razzaq, director Ms Iffat Yunus and Assistant director Saifullah Niazi were present on the occasion.
Governor appreciated facilities of education and health and cleanliness and standard of organisation.
Governor directed for framing appropriate rules and regulations about birth certificates, national identity cards and other necessary documents of the children residing at the Village so that they feel no difficulty in days ahead about securing educational scholarship and employment.
He said mother language of children undergoing study at the institution and a national entity should also be cared of so that they could be recognized which is their natural and birth right.
He urged well to do and philanthropists to visit such welfare institutions from time to time and take part in their financial assistance. He said owing to combined efforts of Government and well to do people we can play important role in giving these children a dignified place in the society. By supporting such children there is mental peace also.
